Madison's aggressive behavior For all who do not know, my husband and I adopted from a rescue, a White female Persian cat last year. I have already 5 male Persian cats but have always been looking for that white female to ad to my family. We named her Maddie and from the very beginning I could see why she had not been adopted. She was let's just say a little feisty and after she slapped and scratched me in the face I knew to be careful around her. I am surprised because anyone knowing the Persian breed knows exactly how laid back they are inherently.
My baby girl is still really scared and untrusting. She has now been with Ken and I since October 2007. Although she has progressed, she continues to slap and bite at us. I am going to be taking her in to our vet for the second time to make sure that she is healthy and find out if he can suggest something to calm her down. I refuse to do anything but continue to love and care for her as I do the other kitties. God sent her to us because he knew we would just acclimate to her personality where someone else might have just taken her back to the shelter. NO WAY! She is our Kittie.
What I would like is any ideas that anyone could give. They would be greatly appreciated.
